Key Responsibilities Establish secure and trusting therapeutic relationships with clients of varying backgrounds. Diagnose and assess clients’ mental and emotional health needs via individual and group sessions. Create personalized treatment plans tailored to individual client circumstances and needs, utilizing evidence-based practices. Conduct regular consultations to provide ongoing counseling, adapt therapeutic approaches as necessary, and monitor progress. Provide referrals to additional resources or specialists when needed to ensure comprehensive patient care. Engage in team meetings and case consultations to ensure a cohesive treatment approach within the clinic. Patient Population / Client Focus As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Beyond Psychology Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals navigating personal challenges, couples seeking to enhance their relationships, and families in need of guidance to improve their dynamics. The cases may range from common relationship issues and family conflicts to more complex mental health disorders requiring specialized therapeutic approaches. Qualifications A valid and current LMFT license. A master's degree or doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field. Strong foundational knowledge in mental health principles and therapeutic techniques. Excellent counseling and therapeutic skills, with the ability to motivate and support clients on their journey to recovery and wellness. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, fostering effective collaboration within the team and with clients. Preferred Experience Certification or significant experience in addiction therapy and familiarity with evidence-based treatments for substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders. A demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations, adapting approaches to meet various cultural needs and contexts. Experience with electronic health record systems and teletherapy platforms is highly desirable. Compensation and Benefits The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
