Work Environment

This Full-Time Physical Therapist role is predominantly onsite, providing care in patients' homes. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians, establishing tailored treatment plans that align with the physician's directives.
• Implement and oversee treatment programs that address the specific needs of patients, ensuring an evidence-based approach that fosters effective therapy.
• Exemplify superior customer service through compassionate interaction, contributing positively to the overall patient experience.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role involves treating a diverse range of patients, including those with orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine conditions. As a physical therapist, you will play a crucial role in aiding patients to restore their physical capabilities and improve their quality of life. By establishing strong relationships with each patient, you will guide them toward achieving their individual functional goals in a supportive and empathetic manner.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program recognized by the APTA or CAPTE.
• Hold a valid State License in Physical Therapy to practice in Virginia.
• Certification in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association is required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in both written and verbal communication, with effective interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in word processing and competent computer skills are essential for documentation and patient management.
• Ability to build rapport and maintain strong relationships with patients and community members is essential.
• A passionate commitment to making positive, personal connections and a drive to support patients in their rehabilitation journey.

Preferred Experience

Experience in home care settings is preferred, as well as familiarity with a variety of therapeutic modalities. Candidates with unique expertise in specialty therapy areas such as geriatrics or sports rehabilitation will also stand out.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a robust benefits package that includes:
