Work Environment\n

You will work in a predominantly remote setting, allowing for flexibility while also being part of an outpatient office team that prioritizes connection and collaboration. We operate Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts as necessary to meet patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to understand the specific needs of children and adolescents, considering both psychological and developmental factors.

• Utilize evidence-based approaches to deliver therapeutic interventions aimed at alleviating mental health concerns, adjusting techniques as necessary based on patient responses.

• Collaborate closely with child psychiatrists and other health professionals to ensure a holistic, integrated approach to care, sharing insights and strategies during team meetings.

• Provide crisis intervention when required, ensuring safety and support during mental health emergencies involving children and adolescents.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health issues, treatment options, and available community resources to promote understanding and proactive involvement in care.

• Maintain up-to-date, accurate, and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience is preferred, with particular emphasis on child and adolescent mental health.

• Comprehensive knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities is essential.

• Proficient in delivering individual and family therapy with a strong ability to build rapport with young clients and their families.
