Work Environment\n

This position allows for remote work flexibility, enabling you to conduct counseling sessions in an environment that is comfortable and conducive to open dialogue. While your role primarily involves teletherapy, you will also participate in our outpatient office setting in Fresno as needed. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health status and identify their specific needs.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that align with clients’ goals, preferences, and evidence-based practices.

• Provide high-quality therapy for individuals, couples, and families, utilizing diverse therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy.

• Monitor client progress through regular follow-up sessions and adjust treatment plans as necessary to reflect ongoing developments.

• Maintain detailed and accurate case records, ensuring documentation aligns with ethical and legal guidelines.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with other members of the health care team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and support staff, to coordinate comprehensive care.

• Stay abreast of the latest developments in mental health practices while adhering to ethical standards in service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be to serve a diverse clientele, including individuals battling anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and life transitions. By tapping into your culturally competent knowledge, you will create an atmosphere of understanding and trust, which is crucial for effective therapeutic outcomes. Connecting clients from various backgrounds to the resources they need will be central to your work.

Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure in the state of California as a Mental Health Counselor, with qualifications including:

• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
\n
• Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LPCC)
\n
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
\n
• Licensed Psychologist (PsyD)
\n
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience providing therapy services in a clinical setting.
\n
• Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to create rapport and establish trust with clients.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously while also contributing to a collaborative team environment.

• Knowledge of and experience with evidence-based therapeutic practices.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with underserved populations and an understanding of the socio-economic factors impacting mental health.

• Background in utilizing telehealth modalities for therapy delivery.
\n
• Proficiency in a second language is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
