Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will engage with clients in a multi-faceted manner, addressing both individual and relational needs. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments and treatment planning for individuals and couples facing a wide array of challenges.

• Facilitating therapy sessions for couples, and additionally providing individual therapy as necessary.
\n
• Helping clients navigate complex issues such as grief and loss, family conflict, job stress, and communication difficulties.
\n
• Implementing evidenced-based therapeutic techniques tailored to the unique needs of each client.
\n
• Maintaining meticulous documentation of client progress while adhering to HIPAA regulations and best practices.
\n
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and community resources to enhance the level of care offered to clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clientele will include individuals from various backgrounds in the greater Fort Lauderdale area, with a focus on couples and families. Special areas of concern you will help address include:

• Alcohol abuse and substance-related issues.
\n
• Interpersonal conflicts and resolutions among family members.
\n
• Adjustment difficulties related to separation and divorce, especially in blended families.
\n
• Grief and loss experiences impacting family dynamics.

• Communication barriers within family systems.

Qualifications\n

To excel in this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• Current, active LMFT licensure in the state of Florida.
\n
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field.

• Empathetic, client-centered approach with a focus on fostering positive therapeutic relationships.

Preferred Experience\n
