Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify clients' mental health concerns, which serve as the foundation for developing tailored treatment plans. Deliver individual therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques, adapting approaches to meet each client's unique circumstances. Collaborate closely with clients to set therapeutic goals and routinely assess progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to optimize outcomes. Provide teletherapy services to clients who may prefer virtual sessions or face accessibility challenges, using secure communications platforms to maintain confidentiality and integrity. Ensure accurate and timely documentation of client sessions and treatment plans, adhering to ethical and regulatory standards as well as organizational policies. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities, such as workshops and training sessions, to refine clinical skills and stay up-to-date with current practices and therapies. Patient Population / Client Focus Our practice serves a diverse client base, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. You will engage with clients across various age groups and backgrounds, focusing on providing personalized care to meet their specific mental health needs. Qualifications A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is required. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is mandatory, with a preference for candidates who possess a master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to establish trusting relationships with clients and foster open dialogues. Empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude toward clients’ experiences and challenges. Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities to efficiently manage a diverse caseload. Preferred Experience Prior experience in a mental health counseling role, specifically within private practice, is highly desirable. Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and mental health issues is advantageous. Experience with telehealth platforms and virtual counseling techniques is a plus. Compensation and Benefits Competitive annual salary ranging between $60,000 and $80,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
