Anchored Motion Physical Therapy Services is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant (PA) to join our vibrant team in Rochester, New York. In this full-time role, you will play an integral part in assessing, diagnosing, and implementing medical care in partnership with our supervising physician. Work Environment

This position is located onsite within a dynamic hospital setting, where you will collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals. Our facility supports an advanced infrastructure that allows for seamless communication and teamwork, ensuring comprehensive care for all patients. You will work Monday through Friday, 40 hours each week, starting at 5:00 PM, participating in a collaborative daily rhythm that includes conducting evaluations, procedures, and follow-ups.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and meticulously review patient medical records to establish a precise health baseline.
• Order, execute, and interpret diagnostic tests such as blood panels and imaging studies to inform clinical decisions.
• Diagnose and manage various health conditions, developing innovative treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, particularly in family medicine.
• Prescribe and monitor medications, ensuring optimal patient outcomes while staying within the parameters of practice guidelines.
• Oversee patient health by coordinating care, tracking progress, and adjusting treatment plans as necessary, leveraging an organized multidisciplinary team approach.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment protocols, and preventive measures to foster an informed patient base.
• Engage in daily patient rounds and contribute to hospital leadership with proactive care management and patient transitions.
• Utilize health informatics systems for maintaining accurate documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and ongoing evaluations.
• Commit to continuous professional development and stay abreast of advancements in primary care and treatment methodologies.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies or a related field is required.
• Current certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Active state licensure as a Physician Assistant to practice in New York.
• Proven experience in a family health clinic, hospital, or similar healthcare environment is essential.
• Demonstrated specialization in family medicine, with an emphasis on chronic disease management.

Preferred Experience

• Extensive clinical experience in primary care, ideally having worked in settings that involve collaborative patient management.
• Strong understanding of health regulations and protocols within the healthcare landscape.
• Exemplary communication skills that support effective interaction with patients and family members, as well as teamwork within the clinical setting.
• Ability to approach patient care with ethical integrity and a focus on the patient experience.
• A willingness to pursue further education and clinical skill enhancement regularly.
• A current DEA number is required for the prescription of controlled substances.

Compensation and Benefits

Anchored Motion Physical Therapy Services offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $150,000 yearly, commensurate with experience.
