Be Well Primary Health Care Center, LLC is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physician Assistant to join our growing Pain Management team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work directly with patients in an onsite surgical center environment in North Greece, New York. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive health assessments and physical examinations, including obtaining and documenting detailed patient histories.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic pain conditions, managing treatment plans which may require prescribing medications or recommending interventions.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as X-rays and MRIs, and assess results to inform care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about pain management strategies including lifestyle changes, physical therapy, and non-pharmacologic therapies.
• Collaborate with specialists and healthcare teams to coordinate care, adapt treatment plans, and ensure comprehensive management of patient conditions.
• Advocate for preventive care measures and perform routine follow-ups to monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role involves working with a diverse patient population, primarily adults experiencing chronic pain conditions. The Physician Assistant will address a range of issues from mild to severe pain and will be skilled in delivering compassionate care that is sensitive to each patient's unique situation. 

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
• Current active licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant in New York.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in pain management or a related specialty.
• Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize patient care effectively.
• Strong communication abilities, capable of effectively conveying information to patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in pain management or surgical settings.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and medical documentation standards.
• Skills in navigating complex patient cases and coordinating multidisciplinary care.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive yearly salary range of USD 150,000 to 180,000, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes 401(k) matching, health, dental and vision insurance, life insurance, and generous paid time off.
