Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including comprehensive medical histories and physical examinations, to determine the nature and severity of pain.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians, focusing on patient-centered care and evidence-based practices.
• Assist in performing interventional pain management procedures, utilizing advanced techniques such as injections and other minimally invasive procedures.
• Prescribe and manage medications, monitoring for efficacy and adjusting dosages as necessary in accordance with established protocols.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) systems to maintain accurate documentation of patient care, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Educate patients about pain management strategies, rehabilitation options, and lifestyle modifications to empower them in their pain management journey.
• Coordinate follow-up care and referrals to other specialists as needed, ensuring continuity of care throughout the treatment process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited institution.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
