Camp Premier Health Care Clinic is seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant specializing in Pain Management to join our team in Rochester, New York. This full-time, onsite position will allow you to directly impact patient care within our Surgical Center, providing comprehensive care to individuals experiencing chronic pain conditions.

Work Environment

As part of a dynamic team located in Rochester, New York, the Physician Assistant will work primarily onsite at our well-equipped Surgical Center. The collaborative environment includes modern facilities and access to advanced medical technology, ensuring that our staff can provide the highest quality care. The regular work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, promoting a healthy work-life balance for our team members.

Key Responsibilities

The Physician Assistant plays an essential role in delivering efficient and effective care. Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting detailed patient assessments encompassing comprehensive medical histories, physical examinations, and relevant diagnostic evaluations to establish individual patient profiles.

• Collaborating with supervising physicians to formulate and execute tailored treatment plans aimed at achieving optimal patient outcomes.

• Performing a range of procedures and minor surgical interventions as necessary, under appropriate supervision, to manage pain effectively.

• Educating patients on their medical conditions, treatment alternatives, and lifestyle changes that could contribute to improved health and well-being.

• Documenting all aspects of patient care accurately and promptly, ensuring that medical records, treatment plans, and follow-ups are meticulously maintained according to regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on a diverse patient population, primarily adults suffering from chronic pain. As a Physician Assistant in Pain Management, you will be instrumental in helping patients manage their pain through advanced therapeutic techniques and comprehensive education about their conditions and treatment options.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s Degree or higher in Physician Assistant studies.

• Current certification as a Physician Assistant through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).

• An active State licensure as a Physician Assistant.

• A minimum of two years of relevant professional experience as a Physician Assistant.

• Demonstrated strong clinical skills and the ability to work autonomously within established protocols.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building patient trust and facilitating effective care.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
