Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and collaborate on treatment plans that include pre-crisis and crisis planning, behavioral guidelines, risk assessments, and positive behavior support strategies.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation that adheres to state and federal regulations while using recommended evidence-based screening tools to enhance patient outcomes.

• Participate actively in a multidisciplinary team, ensuring cohesive communication and cooperation within the organization and with external agencies.

• Act as a pivotal liaison with service systems, governmental bodies, and community partners to enrich program offerings and advocate for client needs.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through attending workshops, presenting at conferences, and participating in statewide initiatives relevant to behavioral health.

• Represent the organization by building relationships with local and national advocates, seeking out potential partnerships and funding opportunities.

• Fulfill other duties as assigned by the Clinic Director, contributing to a collaborative team approach to mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is to provide mental health support to a diverse population, including individuals suffering from mental health challenges, those in recovery from substance use disorders, and clients with developmental and cognitive impairments. Our counselors play a crucial role in developing tailored treatment plans that reflect each individual's unique needs, promoting dignity and respect while fostering recovery and growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field is required.

• Must possess a valid Independent LMHC License from the state board.
