Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to diagnose and develop individualized treatment plans for clients with varying diagnoses, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and more.

• Provide outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups, tailoring interventions to meet the diverse needs of our client population.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions and treatment progress in compliance with state regulations and organizational standards, including maintaining accurate intake summaries, treatment plans, and case summaries.

• Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings to review and adjust treatment plans based on client progress and feedback from other professionals involved in care.

• Collaborate with physicians regarding the assessment of medication needs and provide guidance for psychotropic medication management.
\n
• Supervise and mentor post-master fellows and associate level clinicians, fostering professional growth within the team.
\n
• Communicate with families and provide them with resources, support, and education about treatment to enhance understanding and foster adherence.
\n
• Participate in an on-call rotation and crisis intervention as required, ensuring high-quality care and immediate support to clients in distress.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current active licensure in California as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).

Preferred Experience\n

Experience providing therapeutic services in an outpatient behavioral health setting is highly desirable. Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and the ability to conduct telehealth sessions effectively will be a significant advantage in this role. Additionally, experience supervising or mentoring clinical associates will be beneficial for candidates aiming to support the growth of less-experienced colleagues.
