Work Environment\n

This full-time position offers a primarily remote work setting, allowing you to connect with clients in a flexible manner while ensuring optimal work-life balance. The hours of operation are Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, with potential for flexible scheduling to accommodate client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to the needs of each client.

• Perform thorough assessments to evaluate clients’ mental and emotional health, identifying key areas for intervention and support.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that align with the client's goals and progress, adjusting as necessary through ongoing collaboration.

• Provide crisis intervention services and support during emergencies, ensuring a safe environment for clients in need.

• Offer psychoeducation and resources to clients and their families to enhance understanding of mental health issues and available coping strategies.

• Maintain meticulous client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and ethical handling of information.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare providers, to ensure a holistic approach to each client’s care.

The Counseling Center serves a diverse population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing a variety of mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will be instrumental in empowering clients from various backgrounds, helping to bridge cultural gaps and enhance their journey towards recovery.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Counseling or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• Valid license to practice counseling in the state of Connecticut.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Advent Health Counseling Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 75,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
