Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your main responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual counseling sessions via secure video chat, aimed at improving clients’ mental health and well-being.

• Facilitating discussions that allow clients to explore their emotions and experiences, fostering insight and growth.

• Acting as an advocate for clients by helping them define their therapeutic goals and assisting them in achieving those objectives.

• Assessing clients' mental health conditions comprehensively and developing individualized treatment plans using a solution-oriented approach bolstered by your clinical expertise.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with stable adult clients who are experiencing low-acuity mental health issues. All clients are meticulously screened before being matched with you, ensuring you work with individuals who are ready for therapeutic engagement and meet your specialty and demographic preferences. This structured approach allows you to concentrate on delivering effective care without the distractions of severe cases.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Full licensure by the state board, allowing for independent practice. Acceptable licenses include:

• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
\n
• Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
\n
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
\n
\n
• No limited or provisional licenses and no disciplinary actions on your record.

• Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to therapy.

• Proficient in using digital tools and comfortable navigating clinical software.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience in teletherapy and familiarity with therapy platforms that facilitate live sessions and messaging can enhance your effectiveness in this role. We welcome candidates who have worked with a diverse client population and possess a deep understanding of various therapeutic modalities.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Guide Point Health is pleased to offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 – 104,000 per year, reflecting your hours worked and contributions to our team. Additional benefits include:
