Work Environment

This role offers flexibility as it is primarily remote, but you will also have the opportunity to engage with clients in our modern outpatient office located in Miami, Florida. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will undertake the following key responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for couples and families, identifying underlying issues and establishing treatment goals.
• Provide individual therapy sessions for adults and adolescents, tailoring your approach to meet each patient’s unique needs and circumstances.
• Facilitate couples therapy, addressing areas such as communication difficulties, conflict resolution, and relationship enhancement.
• Offer family therapy sessions that explore dynamics such as sibling conflicts, blended family challenges, and parent-child relationships.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques to assist patients dealing with issues like grief, trauma, job stress, and adjustment to life transitions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, adhering to ethical guidelines and organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clients will encompass a diverse range of individuals and families, including adults facing mental health challenges, children and adolescents grappling with emotional and behavioral issues, and couples seeking to strengthen their relationships. The primary focus includes but is not limited to those experiencing alcohol abuse, domestic violence, grief and loss, family conflicts, and adjustments related to separation or divorce.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• An active License as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Florida.
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• A deep commitment to providing high-quality, evidence-based therapeutic services to clients.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following experience will be advantageous for applicants:

• Experience in telehealth service delivery, demonstrating adaptability to virtual therapy environments.
• Prior work within outpatient settings or community mental health organizations.
• Experience with diverse client populations, especially in family dynamics and relational challenges.

Compensation and Benefits
