Key Responsibilities\n

As an outpatient counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing personalized treatment plans for clients transitioning through various stages of recovery.

• Providing one-on-one and couples therapy sessions that cater to a wide age range, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

• Maintaining meticulous documentation in client records, ensuring that all notes and updates are completed in a timely manner.

• Scheduling ongoing appointments and managing an updated calendar to facilitate follow-ups and ensure continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your caseload will primarily consist of clients dealing with substance use disorders and mental health challenges, with a focus on individualized care. The ability to engage with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds and with varying needs is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in human services or a related behavioral healthcare field.

• A valid LCSW licensure to practice independently in the state of Florida.

• A minimum of two years of full-time paid experience in chemical dependency, mental health, or adolescent treatment.
