Work Environment\n

This role will be a fully remote position within a supportive community health setting. Our operational hours are flexible with a standard schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some adaptability required to meet patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate patient needs, histories, and strengths, leading to customized treatment plans.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy to individuals, couples, and families, facilitating meaningful change in their lives.

• Facilitate psychoeducational groups and support workshops aimed at reducing stigma and fostering a supportive community among patients.

• Collaborate actively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other health professionals to coordinate care strategies and achieve optimal patient outcomes.

• Deliver crisis intervention services during emergency situations, demonstrating sound judgment and a calming presence.

• Educate patients about various mental health conditions, coping mechanisms, and available community resources to empower their recovery process.

• Maintain meticulous documentation in compliance with legal standards and ethical guidelines, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to discuss patient progress and share insights, contributing to a dynamic learning environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our facility caters to a wide demographic, including adults facing mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance abuse issues. Counselors will work with patients from diverse backgrounds, emphasizing culturally competent care and tailored interventions that resonate with each individual’s unique experience.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in California.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $115,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
