Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments and developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs, utilizing evidence-based practices.

• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to create comprehensive crisis plans, behavioral guidelines, and risk assessments.

• Participating in ongoing supervision, providing consultation for crisis interventions, and implementing positive behavior support plans.

• Documenting client interactions and treatment progress in compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.

• Building and maintaining relationships with local, state, and federal agencies, as well as community partners, to identify resources and promote access to services.

• Actively engaging in professional development activities, including attending conferences and training sessions, to stay current in the field and enhance your skill set.

• Upholding and promoting the mission and values of the organization in all client interactions and professional practices.

• Performing additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to ensure the smooth operation of mental health services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients consist of individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and developmental disabilities. Your role will focus on understanding their unique experiences and collaborating with them to develop sustainable coping strategies and recovery plans. You will provide not only therapeutic support but also guidance and encouragement for clients striving for autonomy and community involvement.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field.

• An independent LMHC license recognized by the state board.

Compensation and Benefits\n
