Work Environment\n

This role offers a fully remote work setting that utilizes the latest telehealth technology to connect with clients. You will enjoy a flexible schedule, primarily working Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some adaptability based on client needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to understand client needs, utilizing tools such as standardized questionnaires and personal interviews.

• Create and implement personalized treatment plans grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, effectively managing group dynamics and ensuring a safe environment for open discussions.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention support during emergency situations, deploying assessment skills to gauge risk and formulate immediate action plans.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential electronic health records in accordance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies, ensuring thorough documentation of treatment progress.

• Engage in regular case consultations and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, which may include psychiatrists, social workers, and psychiatric nurses, to coordinate comprehensive care.

• Educate clients on mental health conditions and available resources, empowering them to make informed decisions about their care.
\n
• Participate in ongoing professional development through workshops, conferences, and relevant training opportunities to enhance therapeutic skills and knowledge.

• Stay updated on the latest research in mental health to continuously improve therapeutic methods.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client base includes individuals from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, encompassing a wide spectrum of mental health challenges. As a therapist at Therapeutic Horizon, you will work closely with clients of all ages—from children to seniors—addressing evidenced-based treatment strategies that respect their unique backgrounds and experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
\n
• Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida.
\n
• Demonstrated knowledge of various mental health disorders, therapeutic approaches, and treatment interventions.
\n
• Strong assessment skills with proven experience developing effective treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, enabling effective engagement with clients and collaboration with team members.
\n
• Proficiency in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and other relevant technology.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience delivering therapy across a variety of modalities, including individual and group therapy, is highly desirable.

• Experience with telehealth platforms and remote therapy practices will be an advantage.

• Familiarity with community resources and support systems in Orlando to enhance client care options is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
