Key Responsibilities

In your role as an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will assume a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Assessing patients' conditions through detailed evaluations to identify their specific rehabilitation needs and goals.
• Developing and implementing comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patient requirements, incorporating manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities.
• Designing engaging fitness and wellness programs that focus on improving strength, endurance, flexibility, and coordination.
• Providing direct patient care with a focus on motivating and empowering patients throughout their rehabilitation process.
• Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
• Documenting all aspects of patient care and progress in compliance with industry standards and organizational policies.
• Educating patients and families about treatment protocols, health maintenance strategies, and preventative care.
• Engaging in team meetings to collaborate with colleagues and refer patients to other healthcare professionals when needed for a multidisciplinary approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at our facility, you will be working with a diverse patient population that includes individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, post-traumatic conditions, and chronic pain. Our patients often come to us with a variety of backgrounds and varying levels of physical capabilities, and your task will be to create meaningful, customized pathways to recovery that promote independence and physical well-being.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• An active and unrestricted license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• A minimum of three years of experience in physical therapy, preferably in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Proven expertise in manual therapy techniques along with experience in creating and implementing effective exercise programs.
• Strong communication skills that facilitate effective collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates who possess additional certifications in specialized physical therapy approaches or orthopedic rehabilitation will have an advantage. Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems and a track record of contributing to clinic improvements are also viewed favorably.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from $110,000 to $130,000 annually, supplemented by performance-related bonuses. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer:
