Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Renewed Harmony Counseling, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks aimed at improving the mental health and well-being of our clients. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to understand clients' mental health concerns and needs.
• Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and family input.
• Applying therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) tailored to individual client preferences.
• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and best practices.
• Collaborating seamlessly with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and school staff, to promote integrated care.
• Engaging in regular peer reviews and case consultations, fostering a culture of feedback and continuous improvement.
• Providing education and resources to clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment modalities, and community resources.
• Staying current on research and developments in the field to enhance clinical practice and client care.
• Managing a full caseload and ensuring timely progress towards treatment goals, adhering to ethical standards set by the NASW.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your focus will be on working with a diverse range of students and their families in a school environment, allowing you to tailor your therapeutic approach to meet their specific mental health needs. You will engage with children and adolescents presenting with various issues, including anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and social difficulties, creating a supportive space for them to express themselves and work towards healing.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid and active LCSW license to practice in New York State.
• A minimum of 3 years of direct clinical experience in providing psychotherapy services.
• Strong foundation in solution-based psychotherapy techniques and individual therapeutic interventions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building rapport with clients.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to tailor interventions effectively.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team-based environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working within school settings or with school-aged children is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with remote therapy tools and digital record-keeping platforms.
• Ongoing participation in professional development activities to enhance clinical skills.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to a comprehensive compensation package, our benefits include:
