This position is primarily remote, providing you with the flexibility to operate from a location that suits you. While our practice settings include outpatient offices in Vallejo, California, our focus on remote therapy ensures that you can connect with clients in a comfortable environment for both you and them. You will have a manageable caseload that allows you to devote significant time and attention to your clients while minimizing administrative burdens.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide immediate crisis counseling to clients in distress, tailoring your interventions to their specific circumstances and needs.

• Conduct thorough assessments and reassessments to determine the most effective treatment plans and ensure every client receives personalized care.

• Manage and update patient records in accordance with established standards of practice and comply with both federal and state regulations.
\n
• Implement mental health outreach initiatives, including workshops, seminars, and training sessions aimed at educating students, faculty, and staff about mental health issues.

• Offer expert consultation to clients and educational staff, advising on best practices for identifying and supporting individuals facing mental health challenges.

• Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions focusing on a wide array of health-related concerns, in addition to mental health and substance abuse matters.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance treatment strategies, leveraging your expertise to contribute to comprehensive care plans.

Qualifications\n

• Must have an active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.
