Work Environment\n

This role offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing our therapists to connect with clients from the comfort of their homes. Operating from Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., we maintain a structured schedule that promotes work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients experiencing mood disorders, which may include depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety, assessing the intensity, frequency, and duration of their symptoms.

• Collaboratively develop individualized treatment plans that align with each client's unique needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate effective treatment outcomes.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care practices to foster understanding and empowerment.

• Monitor client progress regularly and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
\n
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and healthcare professionals to provide integrated, holistic care.

• Stay current with the latest research and developments in mood disorder treatments, incorporating new findings into practice as appropriate.

• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards to ensure confidentiality and quality service.

• Participate actively in professional development opportunities, including workshops and team discussions, to refine therapeutic skills.

• Advocate for clients and work towards reducing the stigma surrounding mental health, ensuring their needs are fully met.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our therapists primarily work with individuals experiencing mood disorders, such as anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder. Many of our clients may also be grappling with complex life situations such as homelessness, trauma, and adversity. The ability to navigate culturally diverse backgrounds and understand the unique challenges faced by different populations, including refugees and victims of domestic abuse, is essential in this role.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) .

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

• A competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000 annually , commensurate with qualifications and experience.
