Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that align with clients' unique needs, goals, and preferences, integrating modalities such as structural family therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and narrative therapy.
\n
• Provide expert guidance and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment alternatives, and effective self-care practices.
\n
• Monitor and track client progress through regular evaluations, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to reflect changing situations and response to therapy.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and integrated care for clients.
\n
• Stay current with ongoing research and advances in mood disorder treatments to enhance therapeutic strategies and patient outcomes.
\n
• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation per legal and ethical standards while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
\n
• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development to continuously improve therapeutic skills.
\n
• Actively advocate for clients’ mental health needs, aiming to reduce stigma and ensure access to necessary resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily focus on clients dealing with relationship challenges, divorce, and mood disorders. Our patient population includes individuals and families navigating complex emotional and situational difficulties. You will be instrumental in providing the support they need to rebuild connections, cope with transitions, and foster emotional resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
\n
• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship with clients.

• Demonstrated empathy and a nonjudgmental attitude toward clients’ experiences and challenges.
\n
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities to effectively manage a diverse client caseload.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with evidence-based therapeutic modalities, specifically Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• A history of working in diverse settings, including community clinics or non-profit organizations focused on mental health.

• Prior experience providing therapy related to divorce and relationship counseling is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
