Key Responsibilities\n

• Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards by adhering to guidelines set forth by licensing bodies and our organization.

• Engage in interprofessional collaboration with healthcare providers, including physicians and oncology specialists, to deliver integrated care tailored to individual patient needs.

• Conduct thorough psychological assessments to determine patients' mental health conditions, strengths, and areas requiring support.
\n
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic modalities alongside innovative approaches for treating patients with cancer-related psychosocial issues.

• Facilitate support groups and therapeutic sessions aimed at educating patients and their families about managing cancer’s emotional impact.

• Participate in continuous professional development, attending training and workshops to enrich your therapeutic skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve cancer patients at various stages of their treatment journey. This includes newly diagnosed individuals, those undergoing treatment, patients in palliative care, and survivors. Your understanding of their unique emotional and psychological challenges allows you to provide tailored counseling and support that meets their specific needs, promoting resilience and improving quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
\n
• No history of Medical Malpractice Claims, validated by a Third Party.
\n
• Authorization to work in the United States.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with cancer patients or in oncology settings is highly preferred.

• Proficient use of telehealth platforms and technologies for effective remote counseling delivery.

• Familiarity with community resources to assist patients and families in accessing additional support.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 105,000 per year based on your experience and caseload.
