Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate and identify client mental health needs.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans using a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based approaches.

• Facilitate both individual and group counseling sessions in a remote setting, ensuring that clients feel supported and empowered throughout their treatment journey.

• Utilize digital tools and telehealth platforms effectively to document client progress and interventions.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance client care and connect patients with additional resources as needed.

• Engage in continuous professional development by participating in training sessions, workshops, and telehealth-related conferences.

• Advocate for clients by providing education on available community resources and support systems relevant to their mental health needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Virtual Mental Health Counselor, you will primarily support individuals, couples, and families affected by cancer and similar health conditions. Your work will focus on providing psychosocial support, understanding the psychological impact of such diagnoses, and helping clients navigate through various stages of their health journey. Your expertise will empower patients to manage their emotions, confront behavioral challenges, and ultimately improve their quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.

• Licenses required: Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

• No history of Medical Malpractice Claims, verified through a recognized third party.
\n
• Authorization to work within the United States.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients.

• Technical proficiency with telehealth platforms and digital documentation systems.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in a telehealth or digital counseling environment is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload.
