Key Responsibilities\n

• Utilize a variety of psychotherapy modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), and psychodynamic therapy, to meet the unique needs of each client.

• Conduct thorough diagnostic assessments to understand client needs and formulate individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
\n
• Monitor client progress through data-driven approaches, adjusting therapeutic techniques as necessary, and documenting outcomes efficiently using an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
\n
• Work collaboratively with case managers and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive treatment for your clients.
\n
• Provide crisis management assistance and intervention when required, maintaining a calm and professional demeanor during challenging situations.
\n
• Demonstrate strong clinical judgment in assessing and addressing clients' mental health issues, employing a flexible and adaptive therapeutic approach as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with Sunshine Sanctuary, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals managing conditions such as Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Attention- Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), anxiety disorders, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), trauma recovery, grief, and more. By building trusting relationships, you will empower clients to effect meaningful changes in their lives through accessible and compassionate mental health support.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is required.
\n
• Current Social Work License (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW) per state regulations.
\n
• Proven experience with a variety of psychotherapy modalities and familiarity with an array of mental health disorders and diagnoses.

• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills, with the ability to manage a caseload in a fast-paced environment and adapt to interruptions as necessary.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, essential for effective client engagement and collaboration with team members.
\n
• No history of medical malpractice claims, verified through a third-party check.
\n
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Compensation and Benefits\n
