Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver individualized mindfulness-based interventions to assist clients in reducing stress and promoting relaxation.

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments that identify clients’ unique challenges and therapeutic goals, ensuring tailored mindfulness practices.

• Guide clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation, and breathing techniques, nurturing their self-awareness and emotional stability.

• Facilitate engaging group workshops focused on mindfulness practices, techniques for stress management, and resilience-building strategies.

• Incorporate mindfulness tools within individual therapy sessions to effectively address clients’ specific mental health issues and encourage growth.

• Collaborate with your fellow therapists and healthcare professionals to weave mindfulness practices into an integrated treatment plan for clients.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client progress, mindfulness methodologies employed, and updates to treatment plans as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with diverse individuals whose challenges may include anxiety, depression, stress-related disorders, and other mental health issues. Our clientele is varied, reflecting a broad spectrum of ages, backgrounds, and experiences. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is essential.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Texas.

• Strong proficiency in integrating mindfulness practices into therapeutic settings and enhancing therapeutic outcomes.

• Excellent communication skills to foster a trusting and calming therapeutic environment for our clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Extensive training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is preferred, although we are open to candidates willing to engage in further training.

Compensation and Benefits\n
