This role is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule while engaging with clients through virtual platforms. However, our team meets regularly in our Tacoma outpatient office to focus on collaborative efforts, team development, and ongoing training. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans, including crisis and pre-crisis plans tailored to individual needs.

• Complete all documentation accurately and promptly to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organizational protocols.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools in collaboration with the clinical team to assess client progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
\n
• Work with interdisciplinary teams to design and implement positive behavior support plans that address the unique behaviors and challenges of each client.
\n
• Engage actively in licensing and accreditation processes to uphold the highest standards of care and professionalism.
\n
• Serve as a key contact for local service systems, state agencies, and community partners, fostering strong collaborative relationships.
\n
• Maintain open communication channels with clients and team members to meet contract standards and uphold the agency’s mission.
\n
• Identify and cultivate relationships with various agencies and organizations to support program development and secure funding opportunities.
\n
• Pursue ongoing professional development through workshops, conferences, and participation in relevant committees.
\n
• Exhibit agency values through work and client interactions, promoting mental health awareness and recovery.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to support the overall mission of Peaceful Pathways.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing emotional challenges, those in recovery from substance use, and clients with developmental disabilities or acquired brain injuries. This role requires a nuanced understanding of various mental health needs, cultural competencies, and the ability to address systemic barriers to wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field is required.

• An active and independent Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license, or eligibility to obtain one in Washington state, which we are willing to assist with for out-of-state applicants.

Compensation and Benefits\n
