Braver Perspective, LLC is seeking a dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW) to join our dynamic team in a fully remote setting. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to engage with a diverse population of clients and utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities to effect meaningful change in their lives. Counselors will have access to a wide network of referral sources to support their work.

Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility and independence in your practice. We support our counselors with essential tools, including user-friendly electronic medical records (EMR) systems and robust telehealth technology, facilitating seamless communication and efficient management of patient data.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide therapeutic services to clients using a variety of psychotherapy modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), and psychodynamic approaches.

• Regularly assess client progress through data-driven methods, adapting treatment plans to meet individual patient needs and responses.
\n
• Deliver crisis management and intervention as required, ensuring that clients receive immediate assistance during urgent situations.
\n
• Conduct diagnostic assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based strategies tailored to each client's circumstances.
\n
• Participate in weekly or biweekly follow-up sessions, employing behavior modification techniques and collaborating with case management when necessary.
\n
• Maintain a caseload that is both full and fulfilling while minimizing paperwork, allowing you to focus on quality patient care.
\n
• Exhibit strong diagnostic and clinical skills, applying sound judgment when delivering services, and providing insights into treatment efficacy.
\n
• Foster a non-judgmental and empathetic environment for clients to express their challenges and aspirations freely.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will interface with clients from various backgrounds dealing with a range of mental health issues including, but not limited to, Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Attention- Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), anxiety disorders, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), trauma, and grief. Your role will be vital in supporting these individuals toward recovery and improved mental health outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or closely related fields is required.
\n
• Valid state licensure as a mental health counselor, social worker, or marriage and family therapist (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW) in accordance with state regulations.

• Proven experience with various psychotherapy modalities and familiarity with a wide spectrum of mental health disorders and diagnoses.
\n
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, handling interruptions effectively while maintaining high-quality care.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, making it easy to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• No history of medical malpractice claims, validated by a third-party background check.
\n
• Authorization to work in the U.S.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience using telehealth platforms and EMR systems.

• Prior work in a community health setting is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
