Key Responsibilities\n

• Establish rapport with patients and their families, acting as a primary point of contact to help manage aftercare arrangements and connect them with relevant community resources.

• Identify and address any resistance or conflict that may arise during therapy sessions, guiding clients through productive discussions to decrease tension and explore non-productive behaviors and coping mechanisms.

• Accurately compile and maintain patient records following approved formats, documenting assessments, intervention strategies, client and family participation, communication with outside agencies, and case closure in accordance with established standards.

• Utilize current DSM diagnostic criteria effectively to assess and understand disorders in children and adolescents, considering the nuances of human growth and development across various life stages.

• Implement therapeutic approaches including behavior modification, assertiveness training, and supportive therapy, tailoring interventions to meet the unique needs of each client.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily engage with adults undergoing detoxification and their families, addressing a range of mental health and addiction-related challenges. Understanding the complexities of addiction and recovery is vital, as you will facilitate support and education for both clients and their families, encouraging healthy coping strategies and resilience throughout the treatment process.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex information in a clear and empathetic manner.

• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain professional boundaries with clients, ensuring a safe and supportive therapeutic environment.

• Proficient in timely documentation of services and adherence to organizational procedures, upholding high standards of patient care and accountability.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000 annually , commensurate with experience and caseload management.
