Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients, assessing the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms to tailor effective treatment plans.

• Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment strategies that incorporate evidence-based approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, available treatment options, and essential self-care practices to empower them on their recovery journeys.

• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring continuous improvement and adherence to therapeutic goals.

• Facilitate integrated care by collaborating with psychiatrists and medical professionals, ensuring holistic support for each client.

• Stay current with research advancements in mood disorders and mental health treatment methodologies, applying this knowledge to improve our service delivery.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards to ensure quality care and accountability.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily engage with clients who experience mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and bi-polar disorder. Your work will focus on fostering a supportive, empathetic, and nonjudgmental environment to help clients overcome their challenges. By building trust and rapport, you will empower clients to explore and address their emotional struggles effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• Completion of a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related discipline.

• A demonstrated ability to exhibit empathy, understanding, and a nonjudgmental approach towards clients' experiences.
