Work Environment\n

This role offers the flexibility of a remote work setting while also allowing for collaboration at our outpatient office as needed. The standard working hours are from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a structured yet accommodating schedule.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments utilizing evidence-based practices to identify clients’ needs and tailor interventions accordingly.

• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with each client, ensuring they align with client goals and preferences.

• Provide ongoing emotional support and education to clients and their families, recommending additional resources and community services.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, sharing insights and strategies to enhance the overall care provided.

• Stay abreast of the latest industry advancements, approaches, and best practices in mental health counseling to continuously elevate client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with a diverse patient population facing various mental health challenges. This may include anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related conditions, and more. Your role will emphasize creating a safe and trusting environment, essential for fostering open communication and effective therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field is mandatory.

• A valid NYS license as an LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Understanding and proficiency in telehealth technologies to facilitate remote counseling sessions effectively.

Preferred Experience\n
