The Willow Counseling Center operates remotely, providing our therapists with the flexibility to deliver services from home while still benefiting from a supportive collaborative team culture. Our office hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some variation based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to understand clients’ unique needs and create individual treatment plans focused on their recovery goals.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing a variety of modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused approaches to promote client well-being.

• Lead psychoeducational and support groups addressing various mental health issues, helping clients feel less isolated and fostering a sense of community.

• Engage in collaborative care by working closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to each client’s care.

• Provide crisis intervention services, offering immediate support and resources during mental health emergencies as they arise.

• Educate clients about their mental health conditions, treatment options, and facilitate access to community resources to promote holistic wellness.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation, adhering to legal and ethical guidelines, and ensuring quality care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our practice serves a diverse population of clients with varying mental health needs, including children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Therapists will have the opportunity to work with individuals facing common mental health concerns, allowing them to develop tailored interventions that resonate with the personal experiences and cultural backgrounds of each client.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York is mandatory.

• Strong understanding of mental health disorders and familiarity with various evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Ability to assess and create individualized treatment plans effectively, taking into account the client's unique circumstances and challenges.

• Experience delivering both individual and group therapy to a varied demographic.

Preferred Experience\n

While a Bachelor’s degree is required, candidates with advanced degrees and additional certifications in specialized therapeutic techniques will be favored. Experience working in outpatient settings and familiarity with telehealth services will be considered beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n
