Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for clients, developing tailored treatment plans that align with their unique needs and goals.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy to individuals, couples, and families.

• Regularly evaluate client progress and adjust therapeutic interventions as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Document all client interactions and maintain accurate clinical records adhering to ethical and legal standards.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops, seminars, and continuing education to stay current with advances in mental health care practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our counseling center serves a diverse population, including individuals and families facing a variety of mental health challenges. You will work with clients experiencing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship conflicts, and substance abuse. Many of our clients have limited access to mental health services, making your role crucial in providing support and guidance tailored to their specific situations.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in California.

• A minimum of two years of clinical counseling experience, with a strong foundation in client assessment and therapeutic modalities.

• A thorough understanding of ethical guidelines and legal standards governing mental health practice.

• Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills to effectively build rapport with a diverse clientele.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

• Competitive salary range of $115,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload.
