New Path Health Care Center is seeking a dedicated and culturally competent Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) to join our team on a full-time basis. Work Environment\n

The work setting for this role is fully remote, allowing you flexibility in your work schedule while maintaining a strong professional demeanor and punctuality. The core work hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate the varying needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments that are sensitive to cultural backgrounds, ensuring that treatment plans are tailored to each patient’s individual experiences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methodologies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to deliver effective and personalized treatment that addresses a variety of mental health concerns.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, creating a safe space for patients to share their challenges and develop resilience.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and support staff to foster coordinated care and integrate services for optimal patient outcomes.

• Provide crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies, assessing risk and offering immediate coping strategies and referrals as necessary.
\n
• Educate patients and families regarding mental health conditions and available treatment options, linking them with community resources to support their ongoing recovery.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of therapy sessions and patient interactions in compliance with ethical and legal standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

• Engage actively in case conferences, supervision meetings, and cultural competency training sessions to enhance your skills and the quality of care provided.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.
\n
• A comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based therapeutic models.
\n
• Demonstrated experience providing therapy that is culturally responsive, including techniques suitable for different backgrounds and life experiences.

• Strong crisis intervention skills are essential, with a capacity to maintain composure and professionalism in high-pressure situations.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to forge rapport and trust with patients from all walks of life.

• Proficient in using electronic health record systems and other relevant software applications.
\n
• A commitment to ethical guidelines and professional integrity in maintaining patient confidentiality.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of experience as a mental health counselor, specifically within a multicultural or community health setting.

• Prior involvement with diverse populations, enhancing the ability to connect with and understand the needs of a broad client base.

• Contributions to community education initiatives or mental health awareness programs preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

New Path Health Care Center offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience.
