Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the mental health status and substance use concerns of clients, effectively identifying co-occurring disorders.

• Collaboratively establish individualized treatment plans with clients that address both their mental health and substance use challenges, applying evidence-based methodologies such as Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT).

• Provide impactful individual and group therapy sessions designed to equip clients with coping strategies, relapse prevention methods, and emotional regulation skills.

• Coordinate care seamlessly with a diverse team of professionals, including psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists, fostering a holistic approach to client treatment.

• Regularly conduct substance use monitoring and apply motivational interviewing techniques to support clients in their recovery journey.

• Educate clients and their families about the connection between mental health issues and substance use, emphasizing the significance of compliance with treatment protocols.

• Ensure consistent documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and intervention outcomes, adhering to ethical and legal standards.

• Engage actively in case conferences, staff meetings, and professional development training to enhance competencies in the treatment of co-occurring disorders.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities for co-occurring disorders, such as Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment and Motivational Interviewing.

• In-depth understanding of the complex relationship between mental health and substance use disorders.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the capability to work effectively within a collaborative multidisciplinary team setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
