Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive preliminary evaluations and maintain detailed documentation from initial assessments through the course of treatment, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

• Assess clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health, using diagnostic tools and clinical interviews to develop individualized intervention strategies.
\n
• Design, implement, and modify tailored treatment plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups, adjusting methodologies based on each client's progress and challenges.
\n
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions that incorporate evidence-based practices tailored to clients’ specific needs.
\n
• Continuously monitor client progress, providing feedback and recalibrating treatment plans as required to achieve optimal outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate intensively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to create a cohesive care approach and coordinate referrals as necessary.

• Follow up with external healthcare providers, ensuring integrated care for clients admitted to intensive treatment environments.
\n
• Recognize and address potential barriers to recovery, working proactively to mitigate factors that could hinder client progress.
\n
• Support family members and primary caregivers through education and counseling, assisting them in managing challenges related to their loved ones’ mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Nevada.

• A passing score on the National Counseling Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE) is mandatory.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interactions with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.

• Strong interpersonal abilities, along with a compassionate and empathetic nature, are essential to build trust and rapport with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience as a mental health counselor in a clinical setting, with a demonstrated history of success in individual and group therapy.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems; experience with AVATAR or similar platforms is preferred.

• Knowledge of treating clients with co-occurring physical and emotional health conditions, including addiction disorders.
\n
• Acquaintance with American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices and current trends in mental health treatment.

• Comprehensive understanding of medication management and the effects of psychotropic drugs prescribed by physicians.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a sign-on bonus to new hires. Our benefits package includes:
