Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for children and adolescents, identifying individual needs and treatment goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and play therapy, to address a range of mental health issues.

• Work collaboratively with child psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care for patients.

• Provide crisis intervention and therapeutic support during mental health emergencies, ensuring safety and stabilization for young clients.

• Educate both patients and families about mental health conditions, treatment options available, and community resources to support ongoing care.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in alignment with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards of practice.

• Engage in continuous professional development by attending team meetings, case consultations, and staying abreast of advancements in child and adolescent psychiatry.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California is essential.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, preferably in a clinical setting working with children and adolescents.

• Strong grasp of child and adolescent mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits\n
