Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments utilizing standardized tools to identify and evaluate the psychological needs of children and adolescents.

• Develop, execute, and monitor individualized treatment plans that are attuned to the developmental stages of young patients and involve family insights for effective care.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions — including play therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and family therapy — tailored to each child's unique needs.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions designed to empower caregivers and support parents in nurturing a resilient home environment.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and other specialists to ensure integrated care, discussing treatment progression and adjustments during regular team meetings.

• Respond to mental health crises with prompt interventions, including risk assessments and crisis management strategies, to safeguard the well-being of our young patients.

• Educate families about varying mental health conditions and treatment methodologies, reinforcing community resource utilization and support networks.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation that adheres to HIPAA regulations and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and legal compliance.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The focus of your work will be children and adolescents facing a spectrum of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders. Each interaction aims not just at symptom alleviation but also at empowering our young clients to build resilience and coping skills.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure in California as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT is essential for consideration.

• Demonstrated expertise in child and adolescent mental health, including familiarity with evidence-based treatment strategies and therapeutic interventions.

• Experience providing therapy to young individuals and their families, showcasing an ability to engage with and build rapport with this demographic.

Compensation and Benefits\n
