Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify the needs and challenges faced by children and adolescents.

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans, taking into account client developmental stages and family dynamics.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to meet individual mental health needs, fostering personal growth and recovery.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions, equipping parents and caregivers with tools and strategies to foster a nurturing atmosphere.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated plan of care that addresses all aspects of each client’s well-being.

• Offer crisis intervention and immediate support services in mental health emergencies involving pediatric clients.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, effective treatment modalities, and available community resources.
\n
• Maintain accurate, detailed documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development to stay current on emerging trends in child and adolescent psychiatry.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with children and adolescents experiencing a variety of mental health issues. This includes clients facing emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. By establishing trusting relationships, you will help empower these young individuals to express themselves and facilitate their journey toward improved mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in the state of California.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
