Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, yet it integrates with an outpatient office setting that encourages teamwork and collaborative care. You will immerse yourself in a flexible work environment with regular hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and the possibility of occasional evening shifts to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate the specific needs and challenges of children and adolescents, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of each patient's background.

• Create, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that consider not only the patient’s mental health issues but also their developmental stages and the dynamics of their families.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions to effectively address a wide array of mental health challenges confronted by young individuals, enhancing their resilience and coping strategies.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions aimed at empowering parents and caregivers to support their children’s mental health in a nurturing way.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and other multidisciplinary team members to deliver synchronized and comprehensive care tailored to each patient’s unique needs.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, demonstrating poise and professionalism in high-stress situations.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, potential treatment paths, and available community resources, fostering greater understanding and awareness.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential patient documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Participate actively in team meetings and case consultations, contributing your insights and remaining engaged in ongoing professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on children and adolescents who experience a wide range of mental health issues. You will directly engage with young clients, building trusting relationships and employing therapeutic techniques tailored to their developmental stages. Your approach will be family-centered, emphasizing collaboration and communication with parents and caregivers to foster a holistic treatment environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, paired with familiarity with various evidence-based treatment modalities.
\n
• A proven track record of delivering both individual and family therapy to children and youth.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a genuine, child-centered approach to therapy.
\n
• Adeptness in building rapport and trust with patients and their families, creating a safe space for dialogue and growth.
\n
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other technology relevant to mental health practice.
\n
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to shared goals and patient outcomes.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a clinical setting specializing in child and adolescent therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
