The position is primarily Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to accommodate client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify the unique needs and circumstances of children and adolescents, utilizing standardized tools and methodologies.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment outcomes, taking into account developmental stages, psychological needs, and family dynamics.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions designed to treat a variety of mental health issues such as anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, and other behavioral issues.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions aimed at equipping parents and caregivers with the tools needed to support their children's mental health positively.

• Collaborate closely with a diverse team of child psychiatrists and social workers to create synergistic treatment approaches that encompass holistic care.

• Engage in crisis intervention to assist children and adolescents experiencing mental health emergencies, providing immediate and effective support.

• Educate young patients and their families on mental health conditions, potential treatment options, and available community resources.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in adherence with all legal, ethical, and organizational standards while ensuring accountability and clarity in patient records.

• Actively participate in weekly team meetings and case consultations to promote continuous learning and improve clinical practices.

• Stay updated on the latest research, trends, and evidence-based practices in child and adolescent mental health to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on a diverse population of children and adolescents ranging from ages 5 to 18, each presenting unique psychological concerns and family backgrounds. You will be instrumental in addressing conditions such as anxiety, ADHD, mood disorders, and behavioral challenges, all while empowering families to foster a nurturing environment. Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required, with a preference for candidates holding a Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience preferred, showcasing work with children and adolescents in various therapeutic environments.

• Experience in providing both individual and family therapy to young clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
