As a member of our innovative team, you will enjoy a fully remote work setting, which allows for flexibility in managing your schedule and patient caseload. The office operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to accommodate the needs of our patients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the unique needs of each child and adolescent patient.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that are sensitive to the developmental stages and family dynamics of the patients.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and play therapy to address issues like anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions aimed at fostering a supportive home environment conducive to recovery and growth.

• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive and interdisciplinary approach to patient care.

• Offer timely crisis intervention for adolescents in acute distress, demonstrating empathy and professionalism in high-pressure situations.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health, available treatment modalities, and community support resources.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation that adheres to ethical guidelines and legal requirements.

• Actively engage in team meetings, sharing insights and updates on patient progress, as well as participating in training and professional development sessions.

• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in child and adolescent mental health to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with children and adolescents who are facing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to mood disorders, anxiety disorders, ADHD, and developmental disorders. Your therapeutic approach will be informed by the specific needs and circumstances of our young clients, ensuring that each treatment plan is individualized. Engaging with families to create a supportive network around our clients is crucial for optimal outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in Washington State is mandatory.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in the field is preferred.
\n
• Strong knowledge base in child and adolescent mental health disorders and acute crises is essential.

• Proficient in delivering both individual and family therapy with demonstrated success in handling diverse clinical scenarios.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with children, adolescents, and families effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n
