Collier Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Matawan, New Jersey. Work Environment

This role is primarily onsite, providing therapeutic services directly in the homes of patients, which allows for a personalized approach to care. Working hours are Monday through Friday, comprising a 40-hour workweek. Our collaborative culture emphasizes teamwork, continual learning, and a commitment to excellence. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians, assessing their physical capabilities and limitations.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans aimed at promoting recovery and improving function.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities and techniques to facilitate healing, including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, and patient education.
• Monitor and document patient progress effectively, adapting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Consult with and educate patients and their caregivers to empower them in their recovery process and encourage active participation in their rehabilitation journey.
• Maintain a high standard of customer service by building rapport with patients and providing a supportive therapeutic environment.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to share insights and best practices, thereby enhancing the overall effectiveness of patient care.
• Achieve organizational goals related to patient utilization, satisfaction, and outcome metrics.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will engage with a diverse range of patients, including those dealing with orthopedic conditions, neurological disorders, pediatric cases, and sports injuries. Your role will be crucial in addressing the unique needs of each patient, enabling them to reach their functional goals and regain independence in daily activities.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy, consistent with standards set by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in physical therapy.
• Current certification in CPR and a strong foundation in both verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in utilizing word processing and other computer software relevant to documentation and communication.
• Ability to establish trusting relationships with patients, enhancing their motivation and engagement in the therapeutic process.
• A passion for building community connections and leveraging them for enhanced patient support.

Preferred Experience

Experience working in home health settings or providing in-home care is highly preferred, as it showcases adaptability to diverse patient environments and a commitment to personalized care approaches.

Compensation and Benefits
