Work Environment\n

This position is structured to be remote, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a high standard of care. However, you may occasionally collaborate with colleagues at our outpatient office. Your typical work schedule will be Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to meet the varying needs of our clients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate the specific trauma history and mental health needs of each patient.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and enhancing overall well-being.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities—including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)—to facilitate patient healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping patients process their trauma experiences, develop coping strategies, and promote emotional healing.

• Engage in collaborative discussions with psychiatrists and additional healthcare professionals to coordinate holistic care for our patients.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support for patients experiencing acute trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available resources to enhance their understanding and ability to manage post-traumatic situations.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of patient progress in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities aimed at improving trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy methods to provide the most effective interventions.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree from an accredited institution in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, preferably with trauma-focused therapies.

• Thorough knowledge of trauma-related disorders and expertise in trauma-informed treatment methodologies.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, portraying empathy and understanding in all interactions.
\n
• A demonstrated ability to maintain composure and professionalism in high-pressure situations.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.

• Ability to function effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to shared goals.

Preferred Experience\n

In addition to the qualifications listed above, experience in delivering EMDR and TF-CBT is highly preferred. Familiarity with diverse populations and cultural competence in therapy practices will enhance your effectiveness in meeting the varied needs of our clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
