Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations, gaining insights into clients' mental health needs and collaboratively developing tailored treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.

• Administer various therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness approaches, to provide individualized therapy for clients and their families experiencing grief and complex emotional transitions.

• Collaborate closely with hospice staff to ensure seamless integration of mental health support into the overall care plan, ensuring clients receive holistic, person-centered care.

• Respond promptly to crises and urgent mental health needs, employing your clinical judgement and compassion to provide immediate support and intervention.

In this role, you will provide support to a diverse array of clients, including those coping with terminal illness, grief, and mental health challenges stemming from complex life transitions. Your expertise will allow you to offer tailored care that acknowledges and respects the unique cultural backgrounds and experiences of each individual.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of an active and independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A completed graduate degree (master's or doctoral level) in an applicable field such as social work, mental health counseling, marriage and family therapy, or psychology.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build strong therapeutic relationships with clients and families from diverse ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds.

• Demonstrated cultural competence and sensitivity to effectively address the needs of various client populations.

• Organizational abilities that support timely documentation and adherence to best practices within clinical workflows.

Preferred Experience\n

Prior experience in hospice care, palliative support, or end-of-life counseling is highly valued, as is familiarity with evidence-based practices for grief and trauma-informed care. Experience working with vulnerable populations will enhance your contributions to our team.

Compensation and Benefits\n
