Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical abilities, limitations, and rehabilitation needs following injury, surgery, or chronic disease.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that align with patients' therapeutic goals, utilizing evidence-based practices, exercise protocols, stretching techniques, and hands-on therapy methods.
• Implement and modify treatment programs as necessary, based on patient progress and specialized needs, ensuring an adaptive and responsive approach to therapy.
• Maintain detailed documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and outcomes to ensure continuity of care and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Educate patients, their families, and caregivers on treatment practices and assistive devices to facilitate effective home care and self-management strategies.
• Regularly participate in professional development activities to remain abreast of current best practices, networking with peers, and contributing knowledge to interdisciplinary team discussions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our therapists primarily work with a diverse patient population that includes children and adults recovering from various conditions such as orthopaedic injuries, neurological disorders, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain issues. You will have the opportunity to engage with patients on a personal level, tailoring your approach to support their unique recovery journeys.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• State license in Physical Therapy in Florida; Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Current CPR Certification to ensure the safety of our patients.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Highly adaptable and willing to implement innovative treatment strategies.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in physical therapy is required.
• Experience working in rehabilitation facilities or home care settings is an advantage.
• Familiarity with assistive devices and modalities tailored to enhance patient independence and mobility.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
