The majority of your work will be conducted remotely via telehealth platforms, ensuring that you can deliver care no matter where you are based.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough mental health assessments to evaluate patients' psychological needs, leading to tailored treatment plans.

• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy with individuals, couples, and families in a remote setting.

• Facilitating psychoeducational workshops and support groups to foster community and address common mental health issues.

• Collaborating with a diverse clinical team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.

• Providing crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies to safeguard patient wellbeing.

• Educating patients on specific mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to empower them in their recovery journeys.

• Maintaining precise and confidential documentation that adheres to ethical and legal standards.

• Actively participating in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a varied patient population, including children, adolescents, and adults, encountering a range of mental health issues from mild stress to severe psychiatric disorders. Your role will be pivotal in fostering a safe environment where clients can discuss their struggles, set personal goals, and find pathways to achieve them.

Qualifications\n

Candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.
\n
• Strong foundational knowledge of various mental health disorders and a repertoire of evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective therapeutic relationships.

Preferred Experience\n

While all applicants are encouraged to apply, those with experience in outpatient therapy or familiarity with telehealth platforms may be particularly well suited for this position. Experience working with a diverse clientele and familiarity with collaborative treatment models are also beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive salary in the range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. In addition to a robust salary, our benefits package includes:
