Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' medical histories and physical conditions, identifying key areas for treatment.
• Develop tailored treatment plans that align with each patient's unique needs, goals, and abilities while ensuring alignment with best practices.
• Implement and adjust therapeutic exercises aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, and range of motion, utilizing the latest exercise techniques.
• Utilize manual therapy skills, including trigger point therapy and dry needling, to effectively alleviate pain and facilitate healing.
• Provide expert patient education on body mechanics, self-care exercises, and functional strategies to promote recovery and independence at home.
• Regularly monitor patients' progress through follow-up evaluations and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on evolving needs.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records in accordance with state regulations and facility policies, ensuring continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at MediPack, you will work predominantly with a varied patient demographic, including individuals recovering from surgical procedures, sports injuries, and chronic orthopedic conditions. Your role is pivotal in guiding each patient through their treatment process, employing hands-on techniques and therapeutic modalities tailored to their specific injuries or conditions.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• Demonstrated understanding of rehabilitation practices, therapeutic modalities, and orthopedic conditions.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting, showcasing your ability to manage diverse patient needs.
• Experience in providing empathetic and effective patient care across various age groups, from pediatric to geriatric patients.
• Comfort with using electronic medical records systems to document patient progress and treatment interventions.

Compensation and Benefits

This rewarding position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
